About a week ago, my friend visited the Coastal region. We had our girly conversation the night before she traveled. You know the usual, don’t forget your sunscreen, I hope that Brazilian wax is fresh, wear your new bikini, make sure you rock your new pair of palazzo pants, eat viazi karai (deep fried potatoes coated with flour), take a lot of pictures, that kind of talk. It doesn’t matter how frequently you go to the Coast, you hear your friend is going, you’ll want to join them but the reality quickly checks in, you have a job, you have responsibilities, you have a spouse you need to consult with oh yeah reality snaps you back real quick. The Coastal experience is new and refreshing each time you visit, it never gets old. I mean the sun, the boat rides, the coconut and the very best part, the beach, nothing beats these things. It’s no wonder coastal themes are one of my favorites. Coastal themes are sort of outdoor themes but who says we can’t bring our outdoor decor in our homes? No one! If there is, we shall go ahead and break the rule.
- Wicker interior
For it to feel like a coastal theme, it needs to give beachy vibes and wicker will meet your expectations with this. Wicker accent seats are what you need to bring that coastal feeling home. Get the accent seats and watch the magic happen.
- Indoor palm plants
They are exotic, they are refreshing, they are lovely, they are green and uuuhm they are plants so they will be a great addition to your coastal themed decor. One tip, water them regularly, they don’t tolerate neglect so show them some love and they will in turn give you fresh vibes.
- Sea themed accents
These are favorites for coastal themed decor. Get some aqua vases, get some shells, get some wicker baskets, get some sand in a vase, get some white crisp stones all these accessories will leave you admiring your coastal themed home. Sea themed accents are so cool, try them.
- Tropical prints
I love tropical prints so much I need to remind myself not to overdo them. They are as cool as they come. You can have tropical prints on your walls as print art, you can have them on your sofa by getting tropical throw pillows, you can have them on your table by getting tropical coasters and place mats there is a lot you can do with tropical prints, you can have them on your bed comforter, on your curtains okay let me stop there. You get the point, tropicals are minty fresh so get them.
